Allison has always been drawn to the studies of spirituality and has explored many different spiritual paths and styles of yoga.  It was 15 years ago that she walked into her first Baptiste Power yoga class in Cambridge, MA and instantly fell in love with what this style of yoga has to offer.

Allison took her first teacher training in 2002 with Baron Baptiste and began teaching in the North Shore area.  Allison taught power yoga classes, private yoga, kids yoga and corporate yoga.  During this time she also assisted at the Baptsite yoga studio in Boston under the guidance of Rolf Gates.

Allison took time off from teaching yoga to raise her son and also launch a start up medical device company in Cambridge, MA where she later became the Director of Human Resources.  During this time she also shared her love of yoga with the her company by leading weekly yoga practices to help ease the daily stress of working for a dynamic start up company.

Allison continued to study yoga and took many workshops including those with Rolf Gates, Beryl Bender Birch, Todd Norian, Bryan Kest and Kathryn Budig.

In June 2014 Allison completed her 500 hour teacher training certification with Gregor Singleton and Claire Este-McDonald of Divine Play Yoga.  In June 2015 she completed her 200 hour teacher training certification with Tricia Philpott of Empower Yoga.  Allison loves sharing her time with like-minded yogis and each training has been transformative and each leading to the next step in her yoga journey.  She cant wait to see what comes next and is grateful to her many teachers.

Allison is excited to be teaching and sharing her love of yoga.  “Each time I get on my mat and come into my breath I find the calmness and awakening that this practiceoffers to me.  Breath by breath we awaken ourselves to the present moment and find a peaceful place to be. Each breath is a moment to begin again”.

Allison lives in Swampscott with her husband Matthew, son Jesse and cat Maui.
