Studio Etiquette

  • Always check-in to class by stopping at the front desk prior to entering the studio. Please say your name and if you have already signed up online.

  • A yoga mat, towel and water are necessary for all classes. If you don’t bring your own, mats and towels may be purchased and bottled water is available for sale. Towels are necessary for all hot yoga and inferno hot pilates classes to prevent slipping and to keep sweat off of the floor. Rental Towels/Rental Mats are available for $3 each or $5 for both rental mat & rental towel.

  • Please be respectful of your instructors and fellow students by arriving on time for class. The door is locked at the start of class. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

  • Take off shoes and coat in the lobby. Leave items in the lobby in the areas provided.

  • Do not wear any strong perfume, cologne, or other strong scents.

  • If you are a beginner, please let the teacher know you are new. Set your mat up in the back row so you can follow along with the rest of class.

  • If you need to leave class early, please inform the instructor, position yourself near the door, and leave before savasana (relaxation).

  • PROPS (blocks, straps and weights) are available.

  • After class, please use your towel to wipe down your mat and the floor around of any excess sweat so that the floor is dry and safe.

  • If you are feeling under the weather with a cold/virus/flu or other illness, you may not participate until you are fully recovered and no longer contagious. (The same goes for skin infections or spreadable ailment.)

  • Please practice good hygiene before coming to practice so that your yoga neighbors can enjoy their class too.

  • Please keep all cell phones in your bag or in the lobby and refrain from bringing technology into the studio. Yoga is time for us to unplug. If there is an unusual circumstance that day, please inform your teacher.

  • As always, be kind and respectful to your yoga neighbors and the teacher before, during, and after class.

Thank you!
